Welcome to Siem Reap, a tranquil town that acts as the entrance to the historic city of Angkor. It’s astonishing to consider that during the 12th century, this area was a thriving civilization, one of the most advanced on the planet, with a population exceeding 1 million people.
Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, please make your way to the arrival terminal and look for our tour guide at the designated counter. The guide will be holding a sign with your name for easy identification. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in (please note that early check-in is not guaranteed and is subject to the hotel’s availability). Free at leisure, the welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Meals included: Welcome dinner
Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a journey to gain a deeper understanding of the temples from the Khmer Empire by visiting the earliest ones first. We will begin with the three temples of the Roluos Group, built in the early 9th century: Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong. Next, we’ll travel to Banteay Srei Temple, renowned as the most beautiful temple in Cambodia. Although small in size, it features intricate carvings in stunning pink sandstone, dating back to the 10th century. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, and afterward, we will continue our exploration with visits to East Mebon and Pre Rup temples, which were constructed in the late 10th century.
We expect to return to the hotel around 5 PM, allowing you free time to relax by the swimming pool or indulge in a spa treatment. Dinner will be at your leisure.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up to take you to Tonle Sap Lake. There, you will enjoy a boat ride to Mechrey Floating Village, where you can learn about the local way of life on the floating houses and observe daily activities such as fishing and children rowing boats to school. Everything in the village, from shops to homes, floats on the water. After exploring the village, we will go kayaking for about an hour to discover the hidden treasures of Tonle Sap Lake. Paddle through the serene mangrove forests while enjoying the peaceful surroundings, where you may spot water birds, monkeys, squirrels, and other wildlife. We will return to the boat pier and drive back to Siem Reap, stopping along the way at a local house. There, you will receive a warm welcome from the family, who will share their vegetable garden with you before guiding you through a Khmer cooking class that features three different dishes. After preparing your meal, you will enjoy the delicious lunch you’ve created.
Following lunch, we will head back to your hotel for some relaxation time. Later in the afternoon, our guide and driver will pick you up to transfer you to a local restaurant for dinner, where you’ll enjoy a Khmer Traditional Dance Show. The performance will last about an hour and feature 5 to 6 different traditional dances. After the show, we will return you to your hotel for the evening.

Today begins with an early start at 5 AM, when our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a memorable sunrise experience at Angkor Wat—an extraordinary sight that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. After soaking in the breathtaking sunrise, you’ll participate in a local tradition by offering food to the monks. Your guide will provide you with a breakfast basket to present to the monks, based on the belief that once consumed, the food is shared with their ancestors. You will also receive another basket for your picnic breakfast.
Next, we will explore the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, followed by visits to Ta Prohm Temple. We will continue our exploration of Angkor Thom City, visiting key sites such as the Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon, and Bayon Temple. We aim to return to your hotel around noon, allowing you some time to unwind and enjoy the swimming pool. Lunch will be at your leisure.
In the late afternoon, around 5:00 PM, our guide and a motorcycle with a driver will pick you up to explore Siem Reap city. You’ll experience local life as people gather with friends and family after work. We will then head to a picturesque lotus farm on the outskirts of town, where a table and chairs will be set up for you to savor cold drinks, snacks, and a bottle of champagne while enjoying the sunset. After this memorable experience, we will return to town, making several stops to sample a variety of local foods, ranging from small snacks to larger dishes for dinner. We will conclude the evening at a local beer garden, where you can enjoy more drinks, finger foods, and a live band performing a blend of old and new Khmer songs, creating a delightful atmosphere to end your day.
