We take a walking tour to Hoi An Ancient Town – an exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. We start our day with the Japanese Covered Bridge – one of Vietnam’s most iconic attractions. Created by the Japanese living in Hoian in the 1590s to reach the Chinese quarter across the water, the bridge is a beautiful historical piece of Japanese architecture. It would be a shortcoming without a visit to Tan Ky House – one of the many ancient houses that make up Hoian Ancient Town. Built two centuries ago with both Japanese and Chinese influences on architecture, this house has been preserved through seven generations. While walking, we will encounter pretty houses of Chinese merchants. Another must-see destination is Phuc Kiem Assembly Hall – an excellent work of architecture considered a heritage of historical significance. Built in 1690, this Assembly Hall is a temple dedicated to the sea goddess Thien Hau.
Spend time on the bamboo basket boat, navigate the small canals of the mangrove forest and coconut palms with a local, and join some interesting activities in the mangrove palm jungle: boat spinning and dancing; singing karaoke; try throwing the fishing nets with the locals; enjoy the traditional folk song performance and fishing crabs along the river.
When you are done, back to your hotel.

Danang is a city where natural wonders, cultural heritage, and modern landmarks come together to create unforgettable experiences. Here are the must-visit attractions that make Danang a highlight of Central Vietnam:
Often listed among the most beautiful beaches in Asia, My Khe Beach stretches for kilometers with powdery white sand and gentle waves. Perfect for swimming, surfing, or sunbathing, it’s also a favorite spot for early-morning walks and stunning sunrise views. With beachfront cafes and fresh seafood restaurants nearby, it’s the ultimate seaside escape.
Just a short drive from the city center, the Marble Mountains are a cluster of five limestone hills named after the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Visitors can climb ancient stone steps, discover hidden caves with Buddhist shrines, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline and countryside. It’s a destination that blends spirituality with natural beauty.
The Dragon Bridge is more than just a crossing over the Han River—it’s a modern icon of Danang. At night, the bridge dazzles with colorful LED lights, while on weekends, it transforms into a spectacular show as the dragon breathes fire and water. It’s a must-see event that perfectly captures the city’s vibrant spirit.
Also known as Monkey Mountain, the Son Tra Peninsula is a lush green retreat filled with scenic drives, hiking trails, and diverse wildlife. It’s the perfect mix of nature, culture, and spirituality.

No trip to Danang is complete without exploring its diverse and flavorful cuisine. The city’s food reflects the richness of Central Vietnam—bold, fresh, and full of character. From street food stalls to seaside restaurants, every meal offers a new discovery. Here are some must-try dishes:
As the culinary pride of Danang, Mi Quang is a colorful noodle dish made with turmeric-flavored rice noodles, pork, shrimp, or chicken, fresh herbs, and crunchy rice crackers. Served with just a small amount of broth, it’s light yet flavorful, and a true symbol of local identity.
This dish is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Thin slices of pork belly are paired with fresh vegetables and herbs, then wrapped in soft rice paper and dipped into a tangy fish sauce. It’s refreshing, healthy, and bursting with flavors.
Banh Xeo is a savory pancake made with rice flour and turmeric, filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, it’s typically eaten with fresh greens and dipped in a sweet-sour sauce.
Being a coastal city, Danang is famous for its fresh seafood. From grilled squid and steamed clams to spicy snail dishes and lobster, the variety is endless. You can enjoy seafood at local night markets or in beachfront restaurants with ocean views.
For a sweet finish, try che (Vietnamese sweet soup) made with beans, jelly, and coconut milk, or grab crispy banh kep (Vietnamese-style waffles) from street vendors. These simple treats capture the playful, everyday flavors of Danang.
Whether you’re dining in a local eatery or a seaside restaurant, Danang’s cuisine is a journey in itself—one that brings you closer to the city’s culture and warmth.
Choosing the right time to travel can make your Danang adventure even more memorable. The city enjoys a tropical climate with two distinct seasons, each offering a different travel experience.
In short, if you want sunny skies and vibrant activities, plan your trip between spring and summer. But if you prefer peace, lower prices, and fewer crowds, the cooler months also have their own charm.
