Welcome to Siem Reap, a tranquil town that acts as the entrance to the historic city of Angkor. It’s astonishing to consider that during the 12th century, this area was a thriving civilization, one of the most advanced on the planet, with a population exceeding 1 million people.

Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, please make your way to the arrival terminal and look for our tour guide at the designated counter. The guide will be holding a sign with your name for easy identification. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in (please note that early check-in is not guaranteed and is subject to the hotel’s availability). Free at leisure, the welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Today begins with an early start at 5 AM, as our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel for a memorable sunrise experience at Angkor Wat, a truly unique sight that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime.

After enjoying the breathtaking sunrise, you’ll participate in a local tradition by offering food to the monks. Your guide will provide you with a breakfast basket to present to the monks, based on the belief that once consumed, the food is shared with their ancestors. You will also receive another breakfast basket for your picnic. Following breakfast, we will explore the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple and then proceed to Ta Prohm, East Mebon, and Neak Pean temples. Following our temple visits, we will enjoy a homemade lunch at a local house. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our exploration of Angkor Thom City, visiting key sites such as the Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon, and Bayon Temple. We aim to return to your hotel around 4 PM, allowing you some time to relax and enjoy the swimming pool.

Later, at approximately 6 PM, your guide will meet you with a motorcycle and driver to take you on a tour of Siem Reap at night, giving you a glimpse of local life after dark. We will stop at a local bar where you can sample a Cambodian beer, a soft drink, or a cocktail while your guide shares insights into Cambodian food and lifestyle. Next, we’ll ride through the city to visit local food spots. Here, you can walk around and taste various snacks, drinks, and fruits, including unique offerings such as deep-fried bugs and frogs. This food tasting experience will serve as a delightful dinner.To conclude the evening, we will visit a local beer garden where you can enjoy more drinks accompanied by finger food while listening to a local band performing a mix of old and new songs. This will surely make for an amazing evening before we return you to your hotel at the end of the day.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day early, departing at 7 AM to avoid the crowds. Our first destination is Banteay Srei Temple, a small yet exquisite temple known for its intricate carvings in pink sandstone, built in the 10th century. Following our visit to Banteay Srei, we will explore the Roluos Group of temples, which includes Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong. After this enlightening morning, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will head to Tonle Sap Lake, where you will board a local boat to visit Kampong Phluk Village. Here, you’ll gain deeper insights into the community’s lifestyle, interact with local families, and witness their daily activities, such as fishing and children rowing boats to school. You will also see the remarkable stilt houses. Please note: In the dry season, if water levels are low and the boat cannot reach Kampong Phluk, we will visit an alternative floating village instead. After our return to your hotel, you will have the rest of the day free at your leisure. Dinner will be at your convenience.
