Welcome to Siem Reap, a tranquil town that acts as the entrance to the historic city of Angkor. It’s astonishing to consider that during the 12th century, this area was a thriving civilization, one of the most advanced on the planet, with a population exceeding 1 million people.
Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, please make your way to the arrival terminal and look for our tour guide at the designated counter. The guide will be holding a sign with your name for easy identification. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in (please note that early check-in is not guaranteed and is subject to the hotel’s availability).
Later in the afternoon, we will embark on a brief orientation tour of Siem Reap City, allowing you to appreciate the charm and size of this delightful locale. Our first stop will be Wat Damnak, one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, where you will have the opportunity to learn about local culture and beliefs. You’ll also have the chance to interact with local monks and gain insights into their daily lives.
At approximately 4:30 PM, we will continue our tour by visiting the South Gate of Angkor Thom City, the main entrance to the last city of the Angkor Period, constructed by King Jayavarman VII. Your guide will provide you with an in-depth history of the Khmer Empire, which lasted for over 600 years from the 9th to the 15th century. Enjoy taking photographs as we explore, and the guide will then take you to a comfortable location where you can relax while watching the sunset and enjoying some refreshing drinks. We will return to Siem Reap for some refreshments before concluding the day with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

We will then proceed to the Terrace of the Elephants, a royal platform adorned with intricate carvings, followed by the Baphuon Temple, which features a remarkable reclining Buddha.
